WE’VE HAD HOURS OF NEWS COVERAGE OF SPINNING CARS WHEELS…
They keep going on about salt. Where does it come from? Is it mined, if so where? Imported? Extracted from the sea? How much does a ton cost? How much is distributed per mile of road? Who decides which roads get salt? On what basis?
They keep going on about grit. What sort of grit? (see above questions)
How do animals ( eg sheep, cows) survive the night? What’s different about their metabolism? Is wildlife being decimated by the freeze? If not why not?
How much snow has to fall for there to be a six inch covering? What’s the equivilant amount of rainfall? Are there different types of snow? Which types have we had? Why does snow fall thicker on the high ground (it can’t be melting on the way down, and vanishing in the last 1000 feet)?
